About Rochdale

Rochdale is a large market town in Greater Manchester. It lies at the foothills of the South Pennines 9.8 miles northeast of Manchester. Rochdale is surrounded by several smaller settlements which together form the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale, population of 95,796.
