The three metre fall into the site was accommodated by employing geotextiles and a cellular confinement product to contain a 'no-fines' aggregete base beneath the driveway, thus assuring aerobic soil conditions and free lateral movement of water beneath the driveway.

The deeper sections of build-up of the cellular confinement system finishes with a forty-five degree slope downwards from the driveway edge, which accommodates landscape planting without interfering with the roots of existing trees.
