About Knowsley

Knowsley is a large village and parish within the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley in Merseyside, North West England. Knowsley was historically a part of Lancashire.  The parish includes Knowsley Hall and Knowsley Safari Park.

The village of Knowsley is much older than its neighbour city, Liverpool. Its name can be found in the Domesday Book of 1086.
