.........................User Training
Using the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment system, assessment
of the same tree by different inspectors not trained to a unifying standard
has produced variable results, comparison of which indicates that training
in use of the system is essential if consistent application of the data
is to be assured. Additionally, tree safety inspection generally lacks
a consistent and unified methodology, and the training of personnel
involved in the inspection and assessment of trees is in need of standardisation.
Cheshire Woodlands has developed a two-day training programme, satisfactory
completion of which is required obtain a licence to use the Quantified
Tree Risk Assessment system. Training can be arranged in your area for
between eight and twelve trainees, who must possess appropriate tree
hazard recognition and evaluation skills to be accepted for training.
