.......Woodland Management

In recent years, a combination of factors has produced a shift in emphasis in woodland management from timber production to a multi-benefit approach with an increased awareness of wildlife conservation, public access and leisure provision.

The voluntary UK Woodland Assurance Scheme (UKWAS) enables woodland owners to gain certification that woodlands are well managed and provide benefits for the present generation whilst protecting the environment and maintaining benefits for future generations. UKWAS provides a useful benchmark for woodland management in respect of conservation, the environment and amenity.

Whether you require a management plan, timber valuation, disabled access or cycle tracks, Cheshire Woodlands can provide the expertise.
